Victoria Beckham's Harper bag: As stylish as baby Beckham

Victoria Beckham's Harper bag: As stylish as baby Beckham

Victoria Beckham Harper bag.jpg
Victoria Beckham's fashion career has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, and her personal life is doing pretty well too thanks to the latest addition to her family - future fashionista Harper Beckham.
In fact, she's so inspired by her daughter that she's named a bag after her. The Harper Bag was unveiled on Monday (when Victoria tweeted the above picture), where it was launched at the New York Public Library during New York Fashion Week.
The Harper bag has a satchel style, and comes in a number of colours. It's already been spotted on the catwalks, with many fashion bigwigs proclaiming their love for the style.
Sadly, it won't be available until August, as part of the Autumn/Winter 2012 range. No doubt there will be a huge waiting list for this classic-looking bag.
What do you think of the Harper bag? If you could have an accessory named after you, what would it be? Let us know in the comments!

Snapped! PPQ bag at London Fashion Week

PPQ17-bags.jpgAigua Media's very own fashion week photographer Amy snapped this shot at the PPQ show at London Fashion Week, and it had to go on The Bag Lady! How gorgeous is that patent bowling bag? Patent and bowling bags were both hot trends for the brand, along with a spot of tweed detail. PPQ is easily one of my favourite shows from London Fashion Week, with their nipped in waists, girly shoes and mix of structured layers and patent. (Oh, and the heart beauty spots? So cute!)
What's your highlight of London Fashion Week so far? Have you earmarked anything for an autumn shopping spree? Let us know in the comments!

Antistatic bag

An antistatic bag is a bag used for shipping (usually electronic) components, which are prone to damage caused by electrostatic discharge.
These bags are usually plastic (PET) and have a distinctive color (silvery for Metallised film, pink or black for polyethylene). The polyethylene variant may also take the form of foam or bubble wrap, either as sheets or bags. Because of the need for protection against mechanical damage as well as electrostatic damage, layers of protection are often used; because of this, you might find:
  • The protected device packaged inside a metalized PET film bag
  • Packed inside a pink polyethylene bubble-wrap bag
  • Packed inside a rigid black polyethylene box lined with pink poly foam
To create the anti-static effect, the black or silver bags are slightly conductive, forming a Faraday cage around the item to be protected and preventing any localized charges from being deposited onto the protected devices as the bags are handled. The pink or green bags are made of low-charging material, i.e. the bag itself will not create harmful charges, but will not protect the item from electric fields.[citation needed] It is important that the bags only be opened at static-free workstations.

BAG

Bags are sealed container that can be taken away. Materials to make bags include paper, plastic, leather, fabric, and others. Normally used for carrying clothes, books, and others. Bags can be picked up at the back called a backpack, while the bags are great for so-called suitcase containing clothes (from the Dutch language koffer). There is also a box-shaped bag that...
